Knowing the strain that can come with frequently carrying a 26-, 15-, or even 8-pound baby, BabyBjörn developed this carrier with wide, padded shoulder straps that help to evenly distribute baby's weight. When infants face outward, the built-in head support for newborns folds down in front.

A size adjustment buckle allows BabyBjörn's carrier to grow with baby—from as early as 8 pounds and at least 21 inches (about one week old) to a maximum weight of 25 pounds. Newborns first face inward using the adjustable head support to keep them stable, while older babies face outward with the head support folded down in front of them. The unique design allows the front piece to be easily removed so as not to wake a sound sleeping baby when taking off the carrier. Summary: have some hands-free fun with your baby, and let them see the world 2008-06-20
Comment: I just got back from a trip to the grocery store, and what could have been a 20 minute trip was done in five minutes. Moving my boy from his car seat to the BabyBjorn took all of 30 seconds, and the time spent in the store isles was noticeably more enjoyable than when he rides in his seat. It's comfortable to wear, and seems like it should last a long time. I can't recommend this product enough.

Comment: The carrier overall is a very good product. It is easy to use and take off. The only thing I would change is the buttons for the legs. Everything else on the carrier is snap on except for two buttons you have to button. It's a minor inconvenience.

Comment: I haven't actually used the Baby Bjorn carrier but it has been highly recommended to me. I was going to buy a cheaper baby carrier, but after reading other reviews on the internet and talking to people who have this carrier, I decided to pay the little extra to get a good quality product. I found that Amazon was the cheapest place to purchase this carrier ($60).
