I used this from when my baby was 8lbs. to about 15lbs. The bigger she got though I used less and less because it didn't provide enough back support and it would be too much weight to handle for long without my back, shoulders, and neck feeling majorly strained. I did buy the Ergo Baby Carrier but I'm barely able to use it just now with my baby being 5 1/2 months old. I liked using this when my baby was a newborn as opposed to the infant carrier that comes with the Ergo Baby Carrier because it felt safer and more secure. I think the Ergo Baby Carrier is better once your little one is bigger but they're so little and not as strong and their motor skills are very minimal the Baby Bjorn is best. I noticed also that my baby sucks on the sides of the Bjorn which I didn't know before but I was SURE glad I bought the organic kind because of it.

Great product, we use it quite often. Its easy to put on and take off. Baby falls asleep in it. Small quirks though, the only issues I have is with the bottom part where the babys bottom sits. It just doesn't seem ergonomic to the babys legs. It spreads them apart and is tight on the legs, especially when hes facing forward. Also, the top part that folds down is another issue, he puts his mouth on the fabric, which is fine but also on the plastic part that secures him to the chest, another design flaw. Other than that, I've been pretty happy with this carrier.

I purchased this item 3 months ago and I am extremely satisfied with the design and usefulness...I also like very much the "color" that is slightly darker than how it looks on photos.
small warning: it may feel very light at the beginning, but gets heavier, if you go out for more than 1 hour, even if your baby is just 1 month old...small breaks help indeed and nothing can be more practical than babybjorn carrier.
