I purchased this wrap while pregnant with my second child after doing tons of research on baby carriers. Never had one with my first but needed one now so I could still chase around my 2 year old. First the good... the fabric is wonderful and the quality of Boba products is second to none. And the wrap is great for a tiny newborn. It keeps them close and snuggled to your chest which is exactly where they want to be. Now the bad... my son is a big boy, 15 pounds at 9 weeks, and I don't feel like it supports him fully. You could definitely feel the sag when his big butt was in it. Maybe it was just me but I always felt like I had to keep one hand on him. It wasn't super complicated to put on after some practice but not practical to throw on while out and about. Since I had only used it twice, its now on its way back to Amazon. I am a huge fan of the Boba Wrap. After trying many wraps similar, yet being dissatisfied with the way they held for longer periods of time, the Boba Wrap takes the cake. It is by far the most comfortable carrier. Hugs baby and you perfectly. The fabric is like butter!! I love how soft it is, yet how well it keeps its shape.

I will say there is a small learning curve, but its small. Once you watch the videos Boba has showing how to use it, it is only a matter of time before you master this carrier. Enjoy!! and these make the best shower gifts btw.

As an experienced sling user I have never really liked stretchy wraps however, after trying the Boba Wrap I have been converted. The instructions are easy to follow and give even a novice a clear guide as to what to do. The babywearing safety material also provided helps to ensure the sling is used according to safe babywearing practises but allows the wrap to remain comfortable for both the mother/father/carer and child to wear. I would (and have) definately recommend purchasing this wrap if looking for a simple to use ergonomically designed sling.
