My daughter's a little over a year, so the Baby Bjorn seemed a little small and it hurt our backs anyway, so wasn't viable as an option for single use anyway. So I started doing some research and narrowed my choice to two carriers, this and the Kelty FC 3.0. I'm really happy I went with the Deuter.
I haven't uploaded pictures in a long time, but as I was trying to internet shop for a carrier, it was frustrating that Deuter nor Kelty had detailed pictures of their products, and the nearest REI is about 90mins north or south of me. I could find a few pictures people posted on Amazon and REI, but nothing truly detailed. So, I hope they help in your buying decision. This is so comfortable I find myself loath to take it off. I find myself thinking up places to go where I would need to carry the baby in the backpack. I have even decided to dispense with the baby sitter and take the baby ballroom dancing--I can MOVE in this thing and I am balanced so well that moving backwards and forwards, side to side, and even up and down is comfortable in this thing. So I am delighted with this.
It is VERY adjustable. So much so that I will have to add to this review after my next visit to my sisters who are shorter than my five foot three and three quarter inches. We are going to try it with the two year old on her also short mother. Based on how I have it adjusted, and the other options for length of torso and ease of adjustment, I think it may work for her too.
