If you are into wraps (or want to be) and are serious about it, this is probably the best wrap out there.
I have two Moby Wraps and while I love them, they worked a lot better when my child was under 20 pounds and also when they didn't squirm so much. The Moby tends to stretch out easily, and can feel insecure with a squirming toddler or even with my 9 month old. I was noticing that I had to keep one hand on her while she was in the Moby, for security, which defeats a lot of the purpose of having them in a carrier.

With the Didymos, while you can do the same ties as with the Moby, there is less room for forgiveness. So you may need to tie it a couple times, especially at first, until you get the tightness down. But once they are in, they are in! The Didymos fabric doesn't have nearly the same amount of give as the Moby and this is usually what you want, especially with a toddler. A secure wrap that gave me two free hands was the best way for me to get anything done or manage a baby and a preschooler. For me the value in this wrap was not actually the fabric but the information with it (pricey for that!). But the wrap instruction guide has been irreplaceable for me - and I certainly did try to do without by using online instructions before. I think if I had had an in-person tutor I wouldn't have needed it. The wrap? Great but probably you could do just as good if you knew what you were looking for in fabric for a lot less money. You want fabric that is soft and washable and has diagonal stretch but little stretch parallel or perpendicular to the weave threads. The tag marking the halfway point in the fabric is a very useful touch. Be sure to get a wrap long enough to do the fancier holds - of course the more complex ones are the more comfortable and useful once you master them. Compared to other wraps? I love my Didymos sling! My baby wanted to be held constantly especially the first few weeks. Thanks to the sling I could hold her and have both hands free to do other things around the house. The Didymos is also comfortable and easier to figure out than I had expected. It arrived quickly in perfect condition. I look forward to using it for many years to come for many different activities.
