Summary: cute, but didn't work for me 2008-06-21
Comment: My son loved the dog, but the harness didn't work for me... Because it works like a backpack and the restrain attaches to the back of the backpack every time I pulled he would fall back on his butt. Looks very wierd when you are at the mall or other public place... You can take the restrain off the backpack, I would attach it to his pant belt or around the wrist, it worked better, but still was too much work for me and of course he hated it.

Summary: Super cute! 2008-06-15
Comment: This is super adorable. It straps on very nicely and it's soft so the straps aren't digging into her shoulders. The only thing I didn't like about it is the pouch on the back is to small to fit anything into it. Other than that I love it and it keeps my daughter from running off.

Summary: Great safety tool for parent of multiples 2008-06-02
Comment: First of all, I would like to start by saying that this harness is not meant to be used as a leash. Some other parents wrote in that the tail is too short or that they felt like they were neglecting their child.
We have twins who are 20 months old. This harness has been a lifesaver. We put on the harness when we go walking in the neighborhood or walking in the mall. The kids still hold onto mommy or daddy's hands, but we wear the tail on our wrists. As you know, toddlers may decide to let go and run for it without warning, and we have been able to keep them from running too far away in public. Also, when 1 adult is out with the twins, it is hard to constantly hold both hands 100% of the time. For example, when you reach into your purse to pay for something, which of your 2 hands are you using to hold the hand of each twin? We tried the Kiddopotamus safety harness which was far inferior to this product, had Velcro fasters that easily became undone as the kids were running away from us.
Initially, I did not think of purchasing a safety harness. Then, one day, as I was driving home from work, I saw a mother with a baby in a stoller and a 2-3 year old holding on to the mom. Then, when the light turned green to cross in the crosswalk, the 2-3 year old darted diagonally across the intersection. The mom left the baby stroller in the crosswalk and ran after the little kid. Thankfully, the kid and baby were fine. If the mom had had a safety harness on her toddler, I'm sure the toddler wouldn't have be able to run for a block and a half before mom caught up with her.

Summary: great one! 2008-04-08
Comment: My daughter loves her new buddy. When she saw it, she will want to use it. When going out, I put her this bagpack with the leash inserted behind the pocket. We usually walk together holding hands. So the leash only used in any case when I could not focus on her (say it on the cashier paying or talking with someone), I could take the leash out to ensure she did not wonder off. (well children wonder off could get hit by bypasser who could not see this small body)
Buddy is so soft and light! I love it! and my daughter loves it too.
