I have multiple carriers from hand me downs including ERGO sport, the Baby Bjorn Synergy, a Jeep baby carrier, Balboa baby sling, and 2 other generic slings. The ERGO Performance is by far my favorite. Next would be the ERGO sport. The others either hurt my shoulders or my low back. I think the Performance material feels sturdier than the ERGO sport and I like that it has a front pocket for my keys and wallet. This one with the retractable mirror is also a great added bonus. I use it to look over my shoulder and confirm if my baby is sleeping or not. Great product!

i especially love this color because it doesn't show dirtiness quickly. the fabric is super soft, and my baby is comfy and secure while i have my hands free. i recommend this to every parent. i got the organic suck pads to go with it. baby loves them, and its more sanitary to have these and wash them periodically as baby's mouth is constantly on straps either way, and its not ideal to launder frequently for color fading/wear.

I am not new to baby carriers. I started out with a hand me down basic Infantino. It was pretty good. Then I bought 2 Moby Wraps that I LOVE!!!! I then bought an Infantino flip carrier because I liked the idea of wearing my daughter on my back. It was great until she hit about 18 lbs. I thought my back was going to break. I was in constant pain. I honestly never thought another carrier would make a difference. IT DOES!
Bottom line... you get what you pay for. Not that the Flip was cheap, but had I really researched it I could have saved $ and just bought the Ergo. My daughter is now about 21 lbs and I can wear her front, back or side and my back feels just fine. It's amazing how different it is. Worth every penny!
