This review is from: Ergo Baby - Organic Sucking Pads - Natural (Baby Product) I bought these for our Ergo because our 4-month-old started gnawing on the straps. I was concerned about being able to wash the Ergo and thought these would be great. I considered making them, but having a 4-month-old was about enough work for me. :) They're nice and thick, attach and detach easily and wash really well. Our baby is now 9 months old and they're still in excellent condition! 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Joy "Joy" (Florida) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Ergo Baby - Organic Sucking Pads - Natural (Baby Product) The ergo is, by far, our favorite carrier for our 1-year-old daughter. We've tried a bunch and always come back to this one. That said, it does lay such that babies would munch on the straps too much. These suck pads are just the thing to prevent the baby from this. They're soft on her skin, easy to remove to wash, and in my opinion, necessary for the Ergo carrier. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Ergo Baby - Organic Sucking Pads - Natural (Baby Product) In theory, I like the idea of this product. My baby frequently sucks on the carrier straps and it is difficult to wash the straps on the carrier. These handy pads cover the straps and make it easy to keep the area clean that the baby sucks on. It's an added bonus that they are organic so that none of the pesticides used in cotton find their way into my baby's mouth. However, several of the snaps on the pads I received did not fasten properly -- they kept coming undone very easily -- so that the pads don't stay on the carrier. So I'm returning them for a replacement. I don't know if it's a problem in just the set I received or in the product manufacture in general... will soon find out. |
