I'm not a skinny girl, so when researching baby carriers, I kept this in mind. The Ergo Sport was the perfect choice. I was trying to decide between the Bjorn and this one and already own a Maya wrap. The Maya wrap was great for when my son was just a few weeks old bc it allowed him to snuggle up really close. When he was starting to look around at everything and didn't want to be lying with his eyes closed all the time,(around 2 months),the Maya no longer worked for us bc he wasn't comfy in the kangaroo hold. A friend recommended the Ergo so I checked them out. Living in Texas, and being a husky girl I decided on the Sport because of it's air vent (nice for hot weather) and it's waist strap is longer than the others (good for my larger waist). My son loves being in this carrier! He either sleeps or rests his head on my chest and looks around at everything (he's 5 months old). It is very comfy and doesn't hurt my back at all.
