We also noticed that, while working with babies they indeed like to suck on the straps. These are fine if you don't have the ability to sew. They are essentially washcloths with velcro that wrap around the strap. I gave it three stars because they do serve the purpose and do it well, however, I will be making my own from here on out. :)

My baby loved chewing on the straps of my Ergo until I put these puppies on. He doesn't chew the pads at all. I'm not sure what he doesn't like about them, but since the point was to protect my Ergo they work great. lol He get plenty of other stuff to chew on anyway.
