This Snugli baby carrier features several carrying positions, because everyone likes to have options. Whether facing in or out, in the front or back, this carrier is designed for the comfort of both baby and grownup. Two features worth mentioning: convenient side-entry buckles make getting baby in and out easier, while the foam seating makes baby (weighing between 7 and 25 lbs.) more comfortable. Other details include airy mesh body supports for comfort and coolness and everything is machine washable. --Diane Beall

Summary: Hard to use 2008-11-13
Comment: We bought this product to use in lieu of the stroller. But getting our son in the thing was so hard, we used it only once. So although the price was less expensive than some of the others, it really was a waste of money.

Comment: I have one of these snuglis and wouldn't recommend it to someone shopping for a carrier. It worked nicely in the beginning, when our son was tiny, but now that he is about 17 pounds (at 4 months), it is cutting off the circulation in his legs and not comfortable on me. I am also not a fan of the way you get the child into the carrier, and in fact scratched my son's tummy on the plastic piece where the peg slides in (talk about feeling like a horrible mom!) while trying to get him into position. I am now researching Baby Bjorns because I'd like a secure way to carry him around - it is fun to be able to carry him on walks sometimes, and in the grocery store it's really convenient. If you're shopping for a carrier, I'd recommend you keep looking.

Summary: Good Product 2007-03-17
Comment: This was a good product especially for the cost, but my daughter rather been held then the carrier. But for the cost definitely pick this up rather than spend more money for a item with the same purpose.

Summary: Great product for the price 2006-12-17
Comment: I used it with my first baby when she was about 6 month-old. It was a good way do stuff in the house without her fussing. We used it also a lot when we travelled in Europe. Now with baby #2 (1 month-old), I use it to take walks and go to the park with big sister. Once you use it few times, it is easy and fast to put baby in it.

Summary: Not the greatest 2006-11-30
Comment: I purchased this carrier for its backpack option. It is very difficult to get your baby into the carrier no matter which way you have them facing. I already own a Baby Bjorn, and for those of you planning on using this as a front carrier, spend the extra money and get the Baby Bjorn. It is so much easier to use and much more comfortable for you and the baby. These carriers in general try to mimic the Bjorn, but they dont come close.
When evenflo says snugli, they mean it. your baby will be so close to you, that you will either both get a heat rash, or not be able to breathe. My son weighs 15 lbs and he is already uncomfortable in this carrier. I cannot see how a baby of 26 lbs will fit comfortably in it. also, the straps that come over the shoulder block the baby's view and if he/she falls asleep in the carrier, it will cut into their face. On top of being difficult to adjust, the straps also feel flimsy. For a smaller baby or one that likes being very close, this carrier is all right. For a larger baby or any baby for that matter, go with the Baby Bjorn. You wont regret it like I regret purchasing this carrier.
