Summary: Great for on the go and around the house. 2010-08-11
Comment: My husband and I bought this after looking at all the other carriers and we are so glad we did! Our Daughter is two months old and we were going to baseball game. We purchased this to lug her around in and it worked awesome. In fact my husband has a bad back and he had no problem carring her around in this carrier.
I own a Moby wrap as well and love it but my daughter likes to move her legs and arms and hates to be tightly wrapped up. So the snugli works great for her. If she like being swaddled I would use the moby wrap more but instead I simply put her in her snugli and work around the house. She loves to sleep in it and its so comfortable I take walks with her in it everyday. This is blessing cause trying to use a stroller while walking our dog is tough but this is hands free so walking the dog is a breeze.
Here are Pros and Cons:
Pros:
Cheaper than other brands
Really comfortable even for people with bad backs
Easy to adjust
Easy child in and out
Cons:
Just one so far. If child is skinny their heads tend to roll back because the straps don't tighten enough on the upper part. I suggest putting blanket behind head to hold in place until they have more head control. My child is very skinny and that works great for her.

Comment: I would not recommend this carrier for any serious use. It is a cheap carrier in cost and value...
The straps are only lightly padded and the baby's weight will be concentrated on mom or dad's shoulders rather than spread out evenly. This carrier does face in or out, however when the baby is facing outward their legs will be dangling straight down which stresses their hip joint and it puts all of their weight on their crotch.
It is straight forward to use, however I think most parents will find its use quite limited to short trips while the baby is small. For the same price you would get much better value with a ring sling that can be used from birth until the toddler years when your child gets to heavy to carry at all.

Summary: It's a Hit 2009-08-14
Comment: I purchased this items as a baby shower gift for my grand daughter who will be born in a few month. It's a little early to tell how it will work for the baby, but both mom and dad were thrilled with it. They said it is very easy to put on and adjusts to a Soldier's broad chest. The best part is it was shipped to Germany via an APO address and arrived in 7 days which amazed me. Even choosing the free shopping it arrived in time for the baby shower. Amazing!
