I couldn't find this one at any stores and there were very few reviews. I did find the Ergo at a local specialty shop and got to try it on. It was comfortable but there was no actual seat for baby to sit in. While baby enjoyed sitting in it, I didn't feel she was securly in there. The Ergo was highly reccomended to me and I was really debating if I should get this one. But because it was half the price of the Ergo and included a cup holder. I went ahead and got it. My 8 month old (19 pounds 26") really loves riding in it. And it is relatively comfortable to wear. Equally comfortable to the Baby Bjorn that we also own. (I plan on using this one as a hip and back carrier.) We tried it in the Hip Position and the Backpack. Both were comfortable and easy to put her in by myself. (With the Ergo I tried I needed help putting her in it cause there was no seat.) I also feel she's safely in this...Read more 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By DaniB "Danielle" (Pennsylvania) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Evenflo Snugli Serenade Soft Carrier, Olive With Red (Baby Product) I'm on my third child and I can honestly say I've tried just about every kind of baby carrier/sling on the market. I have had the original Baby Bjorn from the start of my first child and still use it a lot. It doesn't offer the side feature. I've tried the slings that simply go over your shoulder and for my height, 5'4", those never seem to work. I've tried other kinds that are back carriers, side carriers, etc. They were too complicated. I have 4 types of carriers and this makes #5. Some work for my husband better than me so I've kept them. This one is different, but only that. It's not really better than the rest. I was looking for one that served all purposes...back carrier for my husband, side and front carrier for me. I just got it today and it's complicated to put on...something that will get better over time, I'm sure. It rubs on my neck...also something that I can adjust if I wear something underneath. I really wasn't expecting the bulkyness. It has a lot of clips and straps...Read more 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Evenflo Snugli Serenade Soft Carrier, Olive With Red (Baby Product) I love this snugli, the lumbar support is a nice added feature. I didn't have one of these with my other children so it took some trial and error to get into and out of it. Once I figured out all of the ins and outs I fell in love. I can take our daughter anywhere with ease. She is too big for the car seat carrier and a little too small to sit up in a grocery cart, but I can easily put her it the snugli and we are off. I can't tell you how many things I can get done with me hands free! She loves the ability to look all around insted of sitting in a car seat when we go to the store. Sometimes the stroller is a little cumbersome, so the snugli works best. I read the other reviews and should probably say that I am 5'10" which may account for the difference in the way that the snugli fit me. |
