Summary: Waste of money 2008-10-24
Comment: Well, I was truly excited to get this sling after repeated attempts with other types for my fussy 6 week old. Upon opening the package, I thought it looked very simple- it was , all you have to do is fold the fabric in half and slip over your body, anchoring it on one shoulder. Great! then came getting the baby in...not so easy. I could get me average sized baby in, but getting her comfortable, well, that's another story. I made sure I had purchased the correct size and according to the manufacturer's charts, I did but the problem seemed to lie in the stretch and slipperiness of the fabric. Once I did get the baby situated, I walked around the house and had a very difficult time keeping the sling properly placed on my shoulder. After a couple more tries, I finally decided that this was way to much work and it never felt secure, so it went back. I am sticking with the Baby Bjorn, even though it is not as "packable" in the diaper bag. Infinitely more simple to get on mom or dad and much easier to get baby in a correct secure placement.
