I have a big baby (9+ lbs, 22 inches at birth) and this sling just never really fit him until he was big enough to sit up on my hip. When he was a newborn this sling would bend his head too far forward, even with the towel under him as the video suggests. When he was old enough to do hold his head up and use the sling in a different position, his legs would be uncomfortably scrunched and he'd cry after a few minutes. Now that he's 8 months and 24 lbs I can use it in the side hold, but not for long as the weight is very unevenly distributed. Also, it's annoying that it impedes the movement of your arm when wearing it - forget reaching up at the store or putting away dishes, etc.
On the other hand, we rave about the baby bjorn - though it's not nearly as cute.
