It doesn't put too much pressure on your shoulder and allows normal back alignment when carrying a child on your hip. It is also very easy to transport since it rolls up so small. With most other slings, you can't bring them everywhere with you "just in case" because they are too bulky. The only downside is it is not adjustable. My Mom can't wear it when she babysits since she would be a different size. Other than that, they are wonderful products - well put together, soft and sturdy fabric, comfortable for mom and baby, and easy to use (they come with an instructional DVD). I love the reversible feature too! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Hotslings Reversible Pouch Style Baby Carrier, Ingrid (Baby Product) I have used my hotsling from the time my baby was 6 weeks old all throughout his young life, even until today at age 16 months & still going strong! I've carried my baby in a host of different ways to suit him as he has gotten bigger (prone, chest-to-chest, kangaroo, on my back, on my hip) and have always been super comfortable with a very happy (and/or sleeping) baby. We travel nearly every month (almost all of it international), so ease and comfort-factor is really the biggest sell to me, personally. As a side note: I'd encourage mom's who profess this sling doesn't work for them and their babies to try a different size sling or a different position for baby-- as...Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Hotslings Reversible Pouch Style Baby Carrier, Ingrid, Size 3 (Baby Product) I thought this was a great idea at first when my daughter was first born. I was able to nurse her in the sling and carry her around the house doing chores while she slept. I love all the cute patterns and that its washable. But once she got bigger it killed my back and neck. I wish there was padding on the shoulder area for Mom. But if you have any neck/back/shoulder problems stay away.I wish I could have used it more. |
