Hotslings Stripe Baby Carrier - Size 2

this was a shower gift. one of the best ones ever.

we looked at other carriers and this wins out in everything. it takes a little getting used to using it, but once you get the hang of it, no worries.
it's sp comfortable and easy, my husband even uses it. this design is not overly girly so it does dual duty well.

love it. i would absolutely recommend this to every expectant parent.

note: make sure you get the size that will fit you. that is important. and do NOT under any circumstances put it in the dryer.

This Hotsling is just ok in my opinion. In the photo one of the stripes looks brown, but actually it is orange (with a narrow brown stripe next to the wider orange one). I ordered a size 2, but it just seems too small for me, even though I measured correctly and it supposedly sits at the right spot--the bottom of pouch at or a bit below belly button (I am 5 ft. 5 in., about 143 pounds, baby is about 10 pounds). It didn't stretch nearly as much as I imagined (hardly at all). I also found it difficult to breastfeed in. My son fussed and cried every time I put him in it. It's possible I wasn't using it correctly, since I've only tired it a few times though, maybe with more practice it would work, or with a different position (I could only use the cradle hold with him). Mine didn't come with photo directions like the previous reviewer said. The DVD instructions were so fast, I had to replay it slowly many times.
