For the price ($20), this does the job except it runs on the small side so if my 7-month old son (95percentile for height) grows another inch, it might not fit him length-wise. I attached this All Season Carrier Cover Gray to the Infantino Hoodie Universal Rain Carrier Cover Navy Blue -- how the two pieces fit together is a bit awkward, with the bottom corners rolled inwards creating bulk at the corners. I've attached the set to my Organic Ergo Baby Carrier (Navy Twill), it works okay (very good color match) decently covering his legs, shoulders, arms & hands - felt his hands within 15 minutes and they were toasty, his fet were lightly warm. I've also attached the set to my BabyBajorn Organic Comfort Carrier (grey) while my son is in forward-facing position, and it just fits, but a little lacking on the width as it barely covered his arms/hands - he managed to pull one arm out very effortlessly so the fit is a bit lacking there. I have a variety of carriers from different manufacturers, and this cover fits most of them. As long as there are shoulder straps to attach it to, it works. The cover has straps that snap around the carrier's shoulder straps. For baby's legs, you can tighten the sides of the cover and put them around baby's legs, which works pretty well. I usually also open my jacket over baby's legs for added warmth because the cover's material is only moderately thick, like a hoodie designed for early fall weather. If you're going out in colder weather, chances are your baby will need to be bundled up or you'll need to add blankets to keep your baby warm. The snap-attached hood creates a problem for my baby, because the cover rides low on my carriers so the hood doesn't really fit comfortably over baby's head. My daughter is six months old, just under 14 pounds, and 27 inches tall. A must have for ANY carrier (it's universal)! It's of a very generous size, but is easily able to be made smaller (just pull the cords on the sides). It works great to keep your baby warm while walking to your car or even just walking outside.

I also attach this to my umbrella stroller while walking to and from the car. It covers her whole body, including her head. However, it leaves a gap at the top, allowing her to breathe without getting cold. The gap also allows her to look up and see me.
