I bought an infantino (standard one at Wal Mart) for my baby but ended up preffering my sister's older styled one like this better because of the way the straps hold baby in when carrying foward. I looked through most of the other versions and unless you want to pay $100, this one is the best for that reason. The straps may be a bit difficult at first, but once you get used to them, they are easy to use. I love that the straps hold baby in over the shoulders with just a small strap because once my baby was 6 months, she was too tall to stay tucked in to the standard Wal Mart one so I would have to fold over the top and hold her in manually since her shoulders were not stapped in anymore. I am buying this one for a friend since I love this version much better.

After many attempts and a cranky baby, I finally was able to get my baby to go in the carrier without crying. After 5 minutes, the strain on my upper back and shoulders was setting in. Within 15 minutes, my son was getting uncomfortable and crying to get out. It seems very tight on his arms/shoulders where the straps buckle onto the carrier portion. I have a Moby wrap as well that I love, but since I received this as a gift, thought I'd give it a try since it "looks" easy and comfortable. The only feature I find appealing is that the carrier has more of a seat for the baby rather than the baby being suspended and the strain being on the groin and hips. I give it only 1 star as it is uncomfortable for mom and baby! It will be donated.

This is the first and only carrier I have used so far. My son is almost 4 months old and really likes to be held. However, as much as I would like to hold him all day long I really need to get things done around the house. In comes this carrier! I really liked how it does the face in/face out front back with a backpack option as well. My son did not like the face in part at all, but he has always likes to see what is going on around him. He was also a small skinny baby so his face was always sort of smashed into my chest. We have used the face out part once, at the beach when he was almost 3 months old (and about 10 pounds). He really enjoyed it!

The backpack is a soft pillowy material and seems like it would be very easy to just throw into the wash machine, and it seems comfy for baby. The straps are soft enough on my shoulders and it is pretty easy to put on by myself. I'm not sure I'll use this until he is 20 pounds, doesn't seem it would be as comfortable with...Read more
