I know Infantino has a bad reputation in the babywearing community, but this carrier changed my mind. My mom picked it up for me after Christmas knowing I wanted a Mei Tei. As soon as I took it out of the box I was impressed. It is easy to use with helpful instructions inside the carrier. The padding on the shoulder straps makes it extremely comfortable for long term wear. My daughter doesn't like to have it tied on her back so I wrap the straps across her bum and under legs to tie it in the back. It has easily become my go-to carrier when I want to take my daughter on a walk or run errands. I also like that I can discretely nurse while wearing it. If you're new to babywearing or don't want to spend a ton on a mei tai, this is a great choice.

I tried a friend's mei tai carrier with my daughter and fell in love. One thing I didn't love: the price when I searched it online. Many were $80+!! I found directions to sew my own, but I certainly didn't trust myself to do that. Then I found this one. The price was beyond affordable, and it's exactly the same as the $80+ ones. It's comfy for my 6 month old, great on my back, and makes bus rides and grocery shopping easier (and more room in the cart).

It comes with directions, so those new to using a mei tai don't need to guess how it goes. Plus there are labels sewn right on it, so should you sell it later, the new owner will know how to use it as well. Save the money you would have spent on a more expensive mei tai and get yourself something nice!

When i first saw this Mei Tai I was very excited. I made a deal with my husband that we would not be usung the infant carseat carrier like parents typically do, I wanted to wear my LO. I have a hiking back carrier, afront to back carrier, a sling, and a moby wrap. The moby was my favorite of all of those, until recently. I wanted something with the ease and comfort of a moby with more air flow, its springtime and the moby was overheating baby and I. Having a toddler and a newborn I wanted a carrier that did not take as much time and effort as the moby.

PROS: 1. More breatheable than the long, all body encompassing moby.
2. It is super easy to put on. I have read reviews where people find wrapping this daunting. I cannot see how, the instructions are very clear and I watched videos on how to out this on before I even bought it. So the first time I tried it I had a perfect and comfortable fit.
