We bought this carrier to use on hiking/camping trips. It's a great carrier and my son loves to ride in it. Plenty of storage, the straps are soft and comfy, and it's very helpful that it stands up on it's own. My only complaints are that 1) it doesn't keep the passenger's legs and hips in an ergonomic position; having the babies legs just dangle is not good for their growth/development. I would be 100% satisfied with the carrier if it kept the child in a sitting rather dangling position. The stirrups we bought separately help with that, but only if he keeps his feet in them. My other complaint is that my center of gravity is thrown off while wearing this because the child sits so far back away from the wearer. If the child were positioned closer to the wearer's body it would be much more comfortable. I am 5'5" and my husband is 6'3", and this carrier works for both of us with just a few quick adjustments. Also love that our daughter is so comfortable, she absolutely loves going hiking now!

We bought this to replace our old Kelty child carrier, which we purchased secondhand over 5 years ago. The changes in design in that time period are amazing! We love the increased padding and redesign of the waist strap. Tons of storage, we broke it in on a short 7 mile hike, and had enough room for water, snacks, diapers and our first aid kit. This pack is very comfortable for parent and child! The only annoying feature is that the area where the child's feet dangle is enclosed with nylon, so any dirt/mud whatever on baby's shoes is contained in the pack instead of falling to the ground.
