I have used it on walks around the neighborhood and it seems to be fairly comfortable although I haven't worn it for more than an hour. Shoulders did hurt a little. It has a hard bottom that is integral to the aluminum frame so it will sit upright on the ground and lots of storage. Seat height adjustment does not go low enough to support their head should they fall asleep. Also if baby's hat falls off or if baby needs assistance, you are pretty much stuck. One of the things I could care less about is the child backpack (pack that zips off in front),the extra space would of been better. There are two side pockets to put drinks in. I received alot of attention while wearing it. Without the baby in it, it looks like a normal backpack (but weights 5 lbs when empty). Still a good purchase since I do not like to take the stroller on the metro with me.

We bought this for our 9 month old, 17lb baby and love it. We've got a nice stroller, but this carrier is so comfortable and convenient that we actually prefer it for everything for walks around the block to hikes in the woods. I'm a big guy and not in tremendous shape, but this carrier fits me well and is easy to get on and off with the baby in it.

I would have given it 5 stars, but the manual makes reference to a rear-view mirror and there are mounts for it on the harness, but apparently that accessory hasn't been released yet. It would be nice to have!
