I LOVE my Maya wrap!!! It was so much easier to figure out how to comfortably carry baby in this wrap than some of the others on the market. I felt more comfortable using this for my little one at a much earlier age as well. Its a bit pricier than other slings or those types, but I think it will have a long life since I have been told by a couple other moms how great it is once they start to sit on your hip. The zipper pocket is a great addition as well & makes shopping all that much easier.

It's a hard thing trying to find the right products to provide some comfort for your baby (especially when it's your first born!); companies capitalize on your lack of knowledge. My wife convinced me to buy the sling; she argued that its ergonomic design would provide the necessary comfort, for both her and the baby. That has not been the case. The baby does not enjoy the sling (she doesn't like swaddling at all!), my wife is not any more comfortable, and I can't think of worse spent $60+ dollars. I guess the suitability of the product depends on your baby's habits - if he/she likes swaddling, and is younger than 6 months, it is a good buy. If not, don't waste your money.
