Moby Wrap Moby D Woven Baby Carrier, Chocolate Stripe
I had tried multiple different baby carriers before getting the Moby D with limited success (including Baby Bjorn, a Maya ring sling, and a Hotsling). The Moby D wrap is by far the most comfortable and versatile! I was a little nervous that it would be hard to master, but within 5 minutes I had it all tied on and my daughter was happy in it (a first!). It's more comfortable than anything you've probably tried because it distributes the weight across your whole back and around your waist. I've worn her around the mall, while grocery shopping, running errands, or just taking a walk for hours at a time with no problems. If you ever need to change a diaper while wearing her, it's easy to pop her in and out without having to rewrap. We LOVE it!

We have two of these, one in a brocade and one in the hand-woven. The woven is definitely a bit more "grippy" through the panel, and it makes for some really nice carrying options, including back carries, which I would not do with most stretchy wraps. The brocade is a little slippery for back carries, but gorgeous on the front. This is a really nice hybrid between stretchy and woven carriers.

I have purchased other carriers- the first one i tried was a peanut shell sling. It wasn't comfortable, I didn't feel secure wearing it, and worst of all my son hated it. The next carrier I tried was the Baby Bjorn. My son LOVED it. Too bad within 10 minutes my back was killing me :(... so the next carrier I tried was the Moby D... WOW. People say these aren't easy to use, well I got it right first try. The directions are very detailed with full color pictures, you can't get it wrong. My son was asleep within 5 minutes of wrapping him up. It is also very comfortable on my back. I am actually wearing my son right now as I write this review! I love how this carrier truly frees up my hands.
The woven cotton panel in the front adds nice support for the baby. The first moby D I purchased was the one with a brocade silk panel and it was too slick to feel secure (although it was pretty). I would definitely recommend the cotton panel instead. Also I think this is a...Read more
