Comment: While many of the slings out there are sized for the user, the Maya wrap Sling has two heavy-duty metal rings that can be used to adjust the size. Our sling (I believe it's a medium/standard size) is very comfortable for both me (5'2") and my husband (5'8").
Another nice use of the rings is when you sit down you can just loosen the sling until the baby rests in your lap in a puddle of fabric.
It is also a nice alternative to a stroller, especially when catching the subway or trolley.
At times being able to put the baby in the sling and have him be rocked to sleep by the walking required for laundry, dishes, etc. has been the only thing standing between me and madness. My breathing and heartbeat comforts him, and I like having him near me.
