This was in daily use for the first three months of my son's life. He's 6 months and 20 lbs now and we still use it at the store sometimes. This is a great product!
Easy, but painful shoulder stress,

I got this for my baby when he was about four months old. At first it seemed wonderful! Not bulky, easy to get baby in and out of, I was pleased. But, as I used it my shoulder would start to hurt me quite a bit, as he grew and grew, it became almost impossible for me to carry him around for more than 10-15 min at a time. My rotator cuff felt like it was on fire, and being ripped into two pieces. I don't have any past shoulder injuries either, it's just the way the sling sits. I have tried adjusting it every way I can, adding washcloths for support, but to no avail. Oh well.
If you have a very tiny baby, and want to use this occasionally for short stints, it's probably perfect. If you've got an average sized four month old, don't plan on being able to use this regularly. Causes pain.
Great side support, but a bit painful shoulder stress,

I love this item for carrying the baby around while I work, as I talk about on the blog http://www.mommymiracles.com, but all of the weight becomes concentrated on one shoulder, and can become quite painful. It's helpful to switch shoulder sides here and then.
