Peanut Shell Flats Post-Pregnancy Belly Compression Postpartum Girdle with Panel, 2XL, Black

I purchased this after trying the Belly Bandit. I was not happy with the Belly Bandit at all, since it bunched up and rode up constantly. So I was looking for something that would stay in place. This is certainly not the most glamorous looking undergarment but it definitely does exactly what it is supposed to do! It is difficult to get on & up (as it should be!) but once it is in place, it is extremely comfortable but compresses my abdomen exactly as it should. I can easily wear this garment 24/7, unlike the Belly Bandit, which was incredibly uncomfortable. I am seeing great results from this and I'm very happy with it. It is also not visible under clothing, unlike the Belly Bandit which bunched up and caused unsightly "bulges" under clothing. This also provides GREAT support for my c-section incision and postpartum recovery. It would be a bit difficult & uncomfortable to get on and over the incision immediately following surgery though. Yes this is a bummer to wear to some degree...which is why I didn't wear it right after my baby, but I finally gave it a shot after my belly insisted on staying put in its post pregnancy flabby stage and after wearing it for two weeks as often as I could, my belly literaly shrank before my eyes. Once I saw that it was no longer improving from wear, I stopped, but it was totally worth what I got out of it, and the little flap to use the restroom was much needed.

Never thought I would go for something that looks like this but just had surgery with C-Section incision and needed something to compress the incision area. This holds really well! It's not as difficult to put on as some binders/ girdles are - the material stretches but somehow still gives a good compression. "Unhooking" the bottom to use to the restroom is not difficult at all. The band below the bra line does not roll (tried spanx which does!) take note that if you're 5'1" like me, the band goes all the way to the braline. Model in photo must be taller or have a longer torso.
