Comment: We bought kelty Kids 2.1 carrier and it was a mistake, we had to return it back- thanks God we purchased it from a reputable company with good return policy!
I am 5 feet 2 inches tall, and this carrier, although claims to be adjustable, was very uncomfortable for me.
First- it was just HUGE... much bigger than you can imagine looking at it on the picture.
Second- it was Heavy. Plus, although the storage space is really huge, it is impossible to use it all, because the total weight should be 40 pounds only- so , my kid is 26 pounds, carrier is about 6- you can do the math how much is remaining.
Third- it was not user friendly at all. Takes several minutes to put my son there, while in Evenflo he just slides in and out in a second. His feet get stuck, I need to look for a right hole, the carrier has safety straps, and loosening them if I want to take the baby out also takes time. Not easy. My son did not like it either- he did not want to get in there after few times, although he loves another carrier that we had.
Fourth, and the most important- THE CENTER OF GRAVITY!!! I don't know how can a company with great reputation design such a poor product- lots of well-thought of small things, but the big thing.. the center of gravity was totally off, no matter how I tried to adjust the carrier. Even if you look at the picture, you can see the main weight will be at the bottom. And the child seat even in the highest position is too low on the back for carrying him comfortably. So what happens- the main strain and weight comes on the lower back, and it even was kind of pushing me forward at my lower back- and after few hours of carrying I had a lower back pain for a couple of days- which has never happened to me even during pregnancy!
Also, because of that , I could not carry the backpack without bending forward- which is not too safe for the child and definitely very uncomfortable for me. I had to bend forward about 45 degrees in order to carry it.
So my advice- don't buy it! At least, try it before buying, it might fit better on larger torsos, but there are incomparably better and way more comfortable carriers available.
